オープンベータ開始ということで、やってみる。
UCGOのIRCというよりもUCGOβ時代の通称IRC部隊のIRCチャンネルに常駐しているわけですが、私を含めて5人ほどがGW。内2名はUCGO未購入だし、入ったときにUCをやってたのは3人くらいという体たらく。
インストールとID登録は先にやってあったので、まずはログイン。あっさり入れます。タダゲー厨が殺到しているだろうに、たいしたものです。キャラは雄Necの与太郎。それじゃあ生まれますか、と、、、、、ん、、、、なんだこのダウンロードは?
どうやらゾーン移動するごとにゾーンデータを激重ダウンロードする仕様ということで、ローディングに異様な時間がかかる。ゾーン間の移動は面倒ですな。
なんとかアスカロンという都市に生まれたわけですが、ここで初期クエストを行うことに。quest NPCの位置情報がmapに出るのは韓流ゲーの便利なところですね。まずはnecのスキルをもらうために矢印目指して外に出る。
ろーでぃんぐ、ながいよヽ(´ー｀)ノ
「！」マークの付いたWoW風味のNPCを見つけて話をしてmobをちなして無事クエスト終了。でもクエストをこなしたかどうかお知らせ機能の付いていないのが、昨今の便利機能になれた体にはちょっと不親切に感じます。いちいちクエスト進行を確認するのは面倒だな?とか思いつつ無事初期スキルゲット。えと、スペル(スキル)は自動的にショートカットに放り込まれるんですね。でもスペルのショートカットは8個しかないのかな。EQクラシックと同じ数なんですけどね。。。ちょっと物足りないかもしれなひ。
IRCで、アスカロンに集合してみようという話になりますが、集合地点に誰もいない。よく画面を見ると、画面左上(初期設定)に今いるゾーンを見ると、アスカロン(日本 #23)とか書いてある。どうやら人数制限で自動振り分けして、インスタントゾーンを山ほど作っている様子。見れば60個以上ゾーン(サーバ?)が作成されてまつ。会える訳がない。w
どのサーバに入るかは自分で選べるようで、行き違ったりの移動を繰り返して、やっとご対面。しかしながらいつの間にか原因不明でgroup解除されたりしてたりとかで、ソロ活動。初期はソロの方が効率よかったり楽しかったりだからいいんですけどね。
サブクラスはMnkにしてみて、柔らかい割にHP補給手段が多くて攻撃力不明な生き物になりました。Necは死体を使わないと攻撃力弱目ですね。純粋な魔法ダメージはサブクラスのMnkの方が高いですよ?Nec petは死体があれば簡単に召喚できますが、時間と共に崩れ落ちるみたいですし。うーん。。。そのうち化けるのかなぁ?
初日の感想
MOということで友人と会うのに一手間かかりますが、許容範囲。PvEとしてはそこそこ。mobの配置もめちゃくちゃじゃないし、ソロクエスト用のインスタンスゾーンがあったりとかでとにかく動作が軽い。一言で言えば韓流ゲーですが。

Going to replace my DD20 with a Timeline as well. I will likely keep my Echo Park though. I modded it for an external tap that I built, and so I’m used to tapping things in anyway from a single tap. I only look at the DD20 BPM count to see how far “off” the team is. We don’t play with a click track, and even if I try to bring everyone back to a songs given tempo, we are always 2-5 BPM off (on a good day ). Hearing all of the cool sounds that the Timeline brings has made me glad I didn’t spring for a timefactor. A used DD20 is just a bargain. Period.

I think the car insurance cost here might be related to the fact that SE FL not only has hurricanes, but a fair amount of auto theft and vandalism.But the extra cost of living here – at least what I’ve seen so far – is more than offset by not having to pay state income tax, not having to pay for heating, and the general lower cost of living.Even if everything were equal, though, NOT having to bundle up and hug a heater for six or more months of the year are a great benefit as far as I’m concerned.

My thoughts exactly. That much infection I would have thought it would have killed ya. It’s an awesome video to watch but at the same time you wonder how in the h-ll does someone not notice that on any part of their body. Are they sitting around with their friends one day and a friend has to comment and say hey guy your knee is friggen huge maybe you should go get that one checked out. I love watching the videos but it always goes through my mind.

Thank you Lori. I’m sure that the local sheriff kept the fact that the suspect was the mother’s boyfriend out of the news so that people in the community would continue to try to help find Gabbie. I think he knew that once it came out that she was involved with the suspect romantically people would lose interest in the case. And that is exactly what happened. Seems xcode requires something between 5,8 and 9,0 GB of free space, if it helps anyone… For me “install xcode” failed with 5,8 GB of free space. Then I moved the install xcode.app to an external usb disk and after that, with 9 GB free on the system disk, the install seems to be successful.

It’s been interesting for me to encounter pastors with wide reach. Recently Rick Warren has been tweeting about tens of thousands coming to Easter services at Saddleback Church. I think one major thing was a few rule changes that NASCAR put in, the EFI system(that’s one bad finish this season), and I think that part of it might be Carl getting out of NW, not sure about that and I think with Bob being sick, that can be a big distraction for a crew chief.

Can attest to Klout attention received from scores. Klout themselves sent me & my family to an advanced screening of Tangled. However, they also clearly stated they were looking for nothing in return (i.e. reviews, tweets, etc.) For the social media strategies that I do for companies we also integrate the Klout score as part of measuring aspects of their ROI. Compared to some of the other similar scoring tools, it’s a descent indicator.I know ShePost is geared to women bloggers, but dad bloggers who are serious about blogging should pay attention to their scores.
